Diamond Catwalks

for the Diamond Jubilee

As we all know this year BRITAIN celebrates her majesties 60th year on the throne, with this designers have added a touch of sparkle to their Spring/Summer collections.

Rochas sequined prom dresses and skirts glimmer down the catwalks, whilst Ralph Lauren’s evening gowns sparkle and shine with added beads.

Similar to this, Diesel Black Gold and Giles incorporate this momentous year with their signature leather to create metallic leather trousers, skirts and dresses, to add a more alternative dazzle to the catwalks.

Marc Jacobs’ jacket and mermaid skirt combination is shiny and embellished, also, Christopher Kane uses 3D flowers and peppered sequins to add this DIAMOND touch.

Louis Vuitton very subtly and beautifully placed tiaras or diamond-clad headbands on each model.

The look is one slightly far fetched for a normal day at the office, but its one to surely get our patriotic levels sky high, to celebrate a great year to be British.
