Men’s S/S 2012 Runway
Michael Bastian
Michael Bastian looked to the fashions of James Dean for his S/S 2012 collection which oozed classic American style. His series was full of American sportswear staples, with a trendy flair of course. The highlights included army motifs, overalls and broken-in rugby shirts… precisely contrasted with fifties style dungarees and penny loafers. This moody and dramatic collection was an absolute hit.

Nautica
This season, think all things California. Nautica’s designers stuck with what they knew, adding a touch of Southern California sunshine. Collection standouts included Hawaiian prints, shades of yellow and coral anchored by shawl collared sweaters and summer-ready chinos. This easy, breezy collection offered relaxed class.

Tommy Hilfiger
“Modern Prep” is the name of Tommy Hilfiger’s series of menswear this spring. As we can expect, Tommy drew inspiration from the American classics – showing everything from varsity jackets to seersucker. So, what made this season special? A touch of European of sophistication.
