Emilio Pucci 2013 Resort Collection

Designer Peter Dundas looked to safari and army fashions for the creation of the Emilio Pucci Resort 2013 collection. Overall, the collection had a easy ready-to-wear feelings. Some of the collection’s highlights included embroidered cargo pants, safari style shirtdresses, impeccably tailored jackets all done in an army green palette with splashes of peach, blue and yellow. This collection was a step away from Pucci’s mostly beachy vibe and a step closer to a more urban vibe. We’re loving this move.

Marni 2013 Resort Collection

Marni’s designers drew upon western inspirations for this collection, giving us a look at some of the most fashionable cowgirls we have ever seen. Collection highlights include masculine style shirts embellished with golden studs, floral patterns and western style embroidery. These modern cowgirls doned mid-lengthed, pleated skirts, feminine blouses and tweed jackets in quite a demure palette of neutrals including deep midnight blue,
dusty pink, and mustard yellows.
