Tyrolean Braid

Often times we find that runway trends and “it” fashions reflect greatly on what is happening in our beauty routine. That is certainly the case for this summer’s braid craze. We have already shined a spotlight on the braid phase, if you will, but this trend keeps multiplying and now it’s being taken to new and very glamorous levels. Celebrities are turning to the Greek style tyrolean braid, for a low maintenance yet sophisticated style for red carpet Hollywood events. Recently spotted on Kirsten Dunst and Scarlett Johansson, this relaxed and feminine hairstyle is a great change up to the mundane up-dos of the past. What does that mean for us? Well, basically, we have a new fuss-free summer hairstyle to try out… ideal for the warm weather and the beach. Here are a few tips to successfully achieve the braid of a Greek goddess:

1. This look can be achieved in no time, but for best results – make the braid closer to your forehead. It keeps the look girly, soft and feminine.

2. Leave some fly-a-ways – even though they may be pesky, they will frame your face and leave your hair looking healthy and natural.

3. And last, make sure to divide hair into two equal sections – neatly braiding each. Take the end of each braid and overlap them at the top or crown of your head. Secure the braids with bobbi pins, after ensuring the second braid is neatly slipped under the first one. To give the look a more casual feel, loosen each braid. But for a more glamourous feel (seen here) – pull them tight and secure.

  1. I’m extremely impressed with your writing abilities as smartly as with the layout in your weblog. Lhommedieu http://www.e-kino.beznudy.com/zwiastuny/anna-karenina-zycie-pi-i-skyfall-z-najlepsza-scenografia/
