From the first look, it was evident that Frida Giannini had decided that it was now Spring/Summer through her definitive collection, following on from her gothic inspired Autumn/Winter looks that incorporated the trend that defined the season. The garments here were truly at one with models; ruffles wove around them; delicate floral patterns swam over them with ease and grace; bishop sleeves bloomed about arms. They truly did resemble the beauty of the flowers that inspired them; the embodiment of the season, with their shocking colours alluding to the brightness they provide as they emerge from the darkness of winter.
