Rochas

Spring 2013 translated to retro fun for Rochas. Clearly inspired by the 1960’s this overall sporty collection was full of stripes, jumpsuits and polo tunics. Rochas designed in a bright, spring appropriate palette of fuchsia, silver, grey, white and black. We particularly liked the softer, breezier styles like sheer maxidresses and soft floral prints.

Gareth Pugh

Unlike most of the collections we’ve seen this Spring, Gareth Pugh’s collection was a dark, Middle-Age inspired collections full of black leather silhouettes, aluminum-colored jersey styles, sultry crimson red numbers. Overall, the collection had a dark yet regal vibe, remaining extremely polished and meticulously finished. As for the styles, they were extreme in nature and absolutely futuristic.

Mugler

Mugler designers drew from an eclectic mix of inspirations including travel, Guy Bourdin and Hong Kong filmmaker Wong Kar Wai’s works. These inspirations resulted in a Spring collection that was sexy and architectural. Super skinny pants, miniskirts and fabulous handbags were the real showstoppers. Surprisingly, Mugler gave us an extremely wearable collection.
