40 YEARS OF GLAMOUR

Purple has created this short to co-inside with a retrospective exhibition celebrating ’40 years of Manolo Blahnik’ at the French department store Printemps Haussmann. We took to the roof of the renowned department store with a pair of Manolo’s legendary ‘Ossie’ shoes, which have been re-released exclusively for Printemps. Orginially called ‘Ivy’, the shoes were made in 1971 for famed English designer Ossie Clark. The film features the voice of Manolo Blahnik himself whom we exclusively interviewed about his creative process and the state of fashion today.
