ROCHAS PRE-FALL COLLECTION 2013
Lovely pieces that women can truly wear
Rochas pre-fall collection was simply lovely, adorable and elegant pieces make the fashion crowd exclaim an awe of admiration-.
There were, of course, less formal things in this pre-fall collection. In fact, that was one of its strengths: All of the pieces, together or broken apart, were ones women could truly wear.

Sure, Marco Zanini’s combination of a long, glittery, floral brocade skirt with a mermaid flare worn with a nubby collegiate sweater won’t work for everyone or every occasion, but, separately, they are the kinds of recognizable but new-feeling clothes that women crave between seasons. And refreshingly (since several of the pre-fall collections have felt so dark and heavy), this was a collection with a lot of color. Zanini injected a sense of optimism via a voluminous pale-pink pajama-style look paired with an A-line coat in the same shade and super-soft chenille sweaters and cardigans in warm pastels. As for silhouettes, the rounded coats and boxy, double-faced wool tunics were balanced by slim, cropped pants and skinny pencil skirts.
