yesterday was such an intersting day. we were honored visiting the Louis Vuitton Maison de Famille in Paris, to discover the cozy and romantic house, among their little museum and their atelier which specially intrigued me. as you´ll see the maison was full of little charming corners, I would love to pick up with me all their books haha. during the visit to their little museum located in the second floor of the house we found little treasures like the first suitcases created by the brand, or a funny bed-suitcase very useful for explorers in the last century. our excursion at the atelier was amazing, we discovered the wood they used, the leather and of course the elaboration process by their employs; all of the them have their names and date of entry at the company in the pocket of their shirts, and we realized that many of them were working and learning that amazing proffesion for so many years. today it´s time to visit one of their shops, another museum and finally in the afternoon I´ll be back home! I can´t wait! I have so many things to do this week! thank you so much for your comments!!

Ayer fue un día muy interesante. Tuvimos el honor de visitar la Maison de Famille de Louis Vuitton en París, para descubrir la acogedora y romántica casa, así como su pequeño museo y su atelier que me cautivó especialmente. Como vereis la Maison estaba llena de rincones con encanto que no dejamos de fotografiar, me hubiera encantado llevarme todos esos increíbles libros para casa!. En la visita al pequeño museo en la segunda planta de la Maison encontramos pequeños tesoros como muestras de los primeros cofres que creó la firma, o un gracioso cofre-cama que utilizaban algunos exploradores en el siglo pasado. En nuestra excursión al atelier descubrimos la selección de las maderas, de pieles, y por supuesto su elaboración por sus empleados; todos ellos llevan su nombre y fecha de entrada en la compañía bordado en su bolsillo, y pudimos comprobar que la mayoría llevan muchísimos años trabajando y aprendiendo un oficio realmente increíble. Hoy es tiempo de visitar una de sus tiendas y otro museo y por fin por la tarde vuelta a casa! que ganas tengo!! Muchas gracias por vuestros comentarios!!
