Before I gush on about how I got to witness one of the world’s greatest peace leader speak last week, let me digress. I am above and beyond smitten with my latest splurge: a Mike Gonzalez Triangle Pullover. The color, the crop, the cut, the sweater in its entirety–who knew I could become so giddy over a knit? It’s an incarnation of my dream sweater, but in-real-life.
Material adoring aside, hearing the Dalai Lama speak about how compassion, above all, fosters the strongest global leadership qualities in community and home really stirred a heart-warming and mindful approach on the future. Best but not least, the Dalai Lama had a great sense of humor and easy-going attitude that made him that much more admirable.
