christmas eve dress

For Love and Lemons ‘Roosevelt’ Dress courtesy of Nasty Gal/ Vintage Givenchy Earrings / Costume National Platform Boots / Milor Rings

I can’t believe Christmas is already here! Looking back, this year had been one big blur, but one blur that had its share of many moments that captured the feeling of “Christmas”. For me it’s those still point “magic” moments when you feel really connected with the world and people and around you, despite the largeness of it all. The holidays is my favorite time of the year to reflect on all the changes and defining moments of the year. I’m so grateful for all the opportunities and memories that took place. For me, my favorite gifts this year were definitely the non-material. They were the the new friends and faces I got to meet, the new grounds I was able to travel, and of course all your guys’ virtual presents presence. Last but not least, after mulling over the purpose of this blog, I can’t wait to start the next year fresh and implement some new ideas and all my other ramblings. But more on that later. Let’s talk about my outfit.

I’m going for a festive Kelly Bundy look in this forest green ‘Roosevelt‘ dress by ‘For Love and Lemons.’ In this dress I feel like an 80′s actress ready for a Christmas Eve out in Lauren Canyon. With a fresh perm I’d be sipping on bright drinks with tropical names and drip in (not yet vintage) Givenchy jewelry. But in 2011, I’ll stick to my one clip-on earring and look forward to a night out with my family. Thanks Nasty Gal for providing a wonderful dress to slink around in! Have a wonderful Christmas Eve!
