day 3 – karlovy vary is well worth the 2 hour bus trip! with pastel colors everywhere in sight, it’s even more like a fairy tale land than prague.

i must admit that the first sip of hot spring water tasted a little weird, a little rusty and salty for me. turns out the hotter the water is, the better it would taste! i love it at 75 C while my first cup was only 30 C.

had 2 spa hazelnut flavored wafers to go with the hot spring water and i must say i love this sweet delicacy more than the water ^^”

so grateful that it rained when we were on the way back so we could see the beauty of the town from another perspective.

our dinner at kampa park restaurant, set on the banks of the vltava, was very impressive with the spectacular night view of charles bridge, and the nice, delicate food. service could be better tho.

these pictures speak for themselves just how astonishingly beautiful the city is! the sculptures, cathedrals, medieval buildings, horse-drawn carriages, pebble streets, all make me feel like i’m in a vintage story book.

day 1 – it’s already 4pm when we arrived. we had a slow walk on charles bridge, stunned by the beauty of river vltava. i felt tipsy looking at the overview of prague along the castle wall coupled with the orange-hued sky.

day 2 – warm greetings from the blue sky and a lovely breakfast at cafe cukr kava limonada started our beautiful day. our first check point was john lennon’s wall, full of graffiti paying tribute to the hero, unfortunately with some irrelevant scribbles too.

we had fun in kempa museum. isn’t kissing a giant baby’s ass super fun? and look at the yellow penguins army guarding the river! my favorite is the blue mirror installation on the rooftop reflecting the greenery.

the astronomical clock is slightly smaller than i imagined. we spent a lazy afternoon at the outdoor cafe of hotel u prince, and watched the clockwork hourly show twice there while having our seafood platter, illy tini and choco ice cream with baileys. our asian fusion dinner at the mandarin concluded our second day nicely.
