They say the human brain stores memories in the form of a network of associations, and in my case (as you may expect from a real fashion addict like me) these associations often have to do with clothes. Take this outfit as an example: the blazer strongly reminds me of my trip to London last autumn, the shorts make me think back of a really funny shopping spree, and the two zoppini bracelets are for personal reasons of important value for me. Actually, I associate every garment I own with a moment in my life, a particular thought, or something similar. I guess it's one of the reasons why fashion is such an interesting science – yes, you're reading it correctly: I call it a science.
